Meet Paula
Your guide to balance and breath
Discover the heart behind Balance & Breathe with Paula, rooted in personal transformation and a genuine desire to help you find your way back to yourself.

My journey to Balance & Breathe
Balance & Breathe with Paula emerged from my own journey of reconnection. For years, I navigated a busy life, expertly avoiding my true feelings. My fulfilling social care career eventually led to complete burnout. Stepping away from that allowed me the space to reflect, and that’s when everything began to shift.
Through breathwork and yoga, I learned to slow down, be present, and truly feel again – physically, mentally, and emotionally. It was the first time I felt a real connection to myself, and that experience changed everything. What began as my personal healing soon became a calling to share these practices with others, holding space in the way I had once needed. Balance & Breathe with Paula was created from that genuine desire to offer a safe, supportive space where you can reconnect and feel at home within yourself.

A compassionate and unique approach
What makes my approach different is that it’s not about fixing or pushing for change. Instead, it’s about creating a safe space for you to slow down and listen to your body. My work is trauma-aware, intuitive, and rooted in nervous system regulation, ensuring you’re always met exactly where you are.
Rather than a rigid method, I gently blend breathwork, movement, meditation, energy healing and massage, allowing each session to respond to your needs in the moment. My lived experience of burnout and reconnection means the space I hold is filled with genuine compassion and understanding. People often share that they feel truly seen, supported, and able to let go. My sessions are immersive yet grounded, helping you step out of your mind and reconnect with your body in a way that feels both safe and sustainable.

My training and expertise
My work is built on a strong foundation of professional training, hands-on experience, and lived experience. I began my training with the Phoenix Breathwork Method in February 2025, and it marked the beginning of a learning journey that continues to evolve and deepen every day. This path has allowed me to facilitate and support large-scale events across Ireland and London, gaining invaluable practical experience, deeper understanding, and a profound appreciation for the transformative power of breathwork.
I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training with Reformation in Dublin and am currently undertaking my 300-hour Embodied Yoga training with Aruna Studio. I am also trained in Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra, as well as Reiki, Rahanni healing, the AromaTouch Technique, Indian Head Massage and Hopi candling, Cacao Ceremony and Womens Circle facilitation. Combined with my background in social care, this diverse training enables me to hold space in a way that is compassionate, grounded, and genuinely supportive for all.
You are allowed to pause, to feel, and to come home to yourself without guilt
The main feeling I want you to take away is that you are safe, supported, and not alone. You don’t need to have it all figured out to begin. I want you to feel a sense of calm and trust, knowing there is a space where you can slow down, be yourself, and gently reconnect, without pressure, expectation, or judgment. I will meet you exactly where you are, whether that means listening or simply holding space for you as you are. Sometimes, doing less truly is more.
